Rigging without the yoke

There are multiple way to rig a Vortex in addition to the standard yoke.

To rig large arrays of vortex fixtures you can use our LNX accessory ecosystem.  To calculate how many pins and 4-way mounts you will need for your array please see the calculator we have here: LNX Calculator

LNX One takes advantage of the LNX system but allows for rigging units on their own without building out arrays.

Alternatively, the Vortex has a unique dual 3/8"-16 threaded corner system to support complex rigging setups and Vortex arrays.

Ensure that mounting point is safe and secure and is rated to take the full unit weight.

Ensure fastener length does not exceed the depth of the threaded rigging point, or they may become stuck.

With the Vortex2, you take advantage of a conveniently placed center mounted LNX receptacle which allows for unique rigging choices, including use of our LNX-Goose Neck. The LNX-Goose Neck gives you ball joint articulation for quick and effective setups while on set.
